别名:橘皮、贵老、红皮、黄橘皮、广橘皮、新会皮、柑皮、广陈皮。
陈皮，为芸香科植物橘及其栽培变种的成熟果皮。10至12月果实成熟时，摘下果实，剥取果皮，阴干或通风干燥。这种果皮如在保持干燥
的条件下，可长久放置储藏，故称陈皮。
陈皮果皮常剥成数瓣，基部相连或呈不规则碎片。外表面橙黄色或红棕色，有细皱纹及凹下的点状油室；内表面黄白色，粗糙呈海绵状，
附黄白色或黄棕色筋络状维管束。质稍硬而脆。气香，味辛而微苦。
性味归经:
性温，辛，苦；归脾，肺经。
功效特点:
有理气健脾，降逆止呕，燥湿化痰，消痈的功效；用于脾胃气滞之脘腹胀满或疼痛，消化不良，胃气上逆之呕吐，嗳气，痰湿咳嗽，痰多，气逆，痈疮初起。
古籍记载:
《本草汇言》:“味辛善散，故能开气；胃苦开泄，故能行痰；其气温平，善于通达，故能止呕、止咳，健脾和胃者也。”
《神农本草经》谓陈皮“主胸中瘕热逆气，利水谷，久服去臭，下气通神。”
《医学启源》:“去胸中寒邪，破滞气，益脾胃。”
常规用量:
3～9g。

本品辛散苦燥，温能助热，凡津亏及内有实热者须慎用。
